Privacy Policy

This site, amanjha.co, is run by Aman Jha, an AI SEO consultant based in India. This page explains what personal data the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is short because the site collects very little.
What I collect
Contact form. If you send the contact form, I receive your name, email address and anything else you choose to share: company, website, the help you need, your traffic range and your message. I use this only to reply to you and to prepare for a call if we book one.
Email. If you email me at hello@amanjha.co, I receive your email address and message.
No tracking or advertising. The site does not run advertising, sell data or use third-party tracking cookies. Fonts are self-hosted, so your browser does not contact Google Fonts when you visit.
Your theme choice. If you switch between light and dark mode, that preference is saved in your own browser (local storage). It never leaves your device.
AI visibility checker. If you use the free checker on the homepage, the brand name, category, market and website you enter are sent to OpenAI and Anthropic to generate AI answers, and your website is checked by my server. No email or personal details are needed. I keep anonymous results (brand, category, whether it was mentioned) to research AI search trends. Your IP address is only used, in hashed form, to apply the daily usage limit.
Where your data goes
Form messages are delivered to my email inbox. The site is hosted with a commercial web host that processes data on my behalf to run the site. I do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry emails for as long as they are useful for our conversation or working relationship, and delete them on request.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you, or withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@amanjha.co and I will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under laws such as India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act or the GDPR.
Changes
If the site starts using analytics or other tools that collect data, this page will be updated first, with a new effective date.
